Kevin "Skippy" Givens

Kevin "Skippy" Givens has been the Intramural Sports Supervisor here at UCSC since 1988 and the Sports Club Supervisor since 2001. Previous to that he attended Sonoma State University where he was the founder of the Intramural, Sports Clubs and Recreation programs both as a student and a staff member. He is only the second Intramural Sports Supervisor is UCSC History. Skippy loves all forms of competitive sports. He is also a strong advocate of student leadership. When he is not working he is a dedicated husband and father.

Danielle Breski

Danielle Breski graduated from UCSC in 2011 earning a Bachelor's degree in US History with Honors. While at UCSC Danielle was a part of the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country team, making the Regionals squad all three years of her involvement with the team. As a student she worked with the UCSC Sports Club and Intramural programs. Since graduating, she has volunteered within the Athletic Department as the Assistant Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach. She also works at Premier Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Aide.

INTRAMURAL STUDENT SUPERVISORS

Kaitlin Rookus
Kaitlin is from Paso Robles, California and this is her third year at UCSC. She is majoring in Sociology and minoring in Education. She enjoys all sports, especially playing volleyball, basketball, and tennis. She started working for the Intramural Program as a freshman and really loves the energy and the enthusiasm that the program is all about. She encourages everyone to participate in Intramurals because they are a great way to connect with the campus while having tons of fun!

Michael Pattison
Mikey was born and raised in San Diego, California and is in his senior year here at UCSC. He loves to play Basketball, Softball and Volleyball, but likes to watch sports even more. He has been playing different sports since a young age and has enjoyed working for OPERS over the last few years. He loves the Padres and is looking forward to a successful 2012 season!

Daniel Ellis
Daniel was born and raised in Sacramento, California and is in his senior year finishing an applied physics B.S. He has been playing soccer, basketball, and baseball since he was able to walk. Daniel has also been refereeing competitive soccer in both the Sacramento and Santa Cruz areas for 8 years. He has a true love for sports and competition. In his second year as a supervisor, Daniel is looking forward to making this year one of UCSC intramural's best!

Michael Barragan
Mike is a Berkeley native, double majoring in Math & Physics and is in his 4th year at UCSC. An avid participant in Intramural Sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Football, Dodgeball and Volleyball, Mike is also team captain of the Mountain Bike team for the slugs. Friendly and easily approachable, Mike will answer any question you give him.
